Alberto Bardales, M.D. is a native of Puno, Perú. Graduated from the University of San Agustin Medical School in Arequipa and as a general surgery resident at “Honorio Delgado Hospital Affiliated at University of San Agustin Medical School in Arequipa.

 

He completed his Plastic Surgery Residency training at the "”Federico Villarreal” University College of Medicine" in Lima . He completed his training in microsurgery techniques in the Microsurgical Training Center from St. Joseph Hospital Houston Texas.

 

Dr. Bardales visited some hospitals in United States and Uppsala Hospital in Sweden . He was appointed Plastic Surgeon of the “Instituto de Salud del Niño”. Today, he serves as the Chief of the Plastic Surgery Division of the Hospital Nacional Cayetano Heredia, one of the largest public hospitals practices in Lima.

 

Dr. Bardales is a professor of Plastic Surgery in the Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the Cayetano Heredia University Medical School at Lima Peru . In addition, he has organized and coordinated for last 6 years clinical training program to educate plastic surgeons in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.

 

He is a member of many national and international societies for Plastic Surgery including the Iberolatinamerican Federation of Plastic Surgery (FILACP) the largest organization of hispanic plastic surgeons in the world, Society of Latin American Plastic Surgeon of United States and Canada (SLAPS), Peruvian Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

 

Peruvian Society of Head, Neck and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Bardales participate as a charitable volunteer goodwill program sponsored by Cayetano Heredia Hospital , Cayetano Heredia University College of Medicine, “Qorito Organization” (Non Profite Organization) and Cleft Kinder Hilfe (Germany Organization) to operate children with cleft lip, cleft palate and facial deformities in many cities of the Peru to benefit the underprivileged patient.He authored several academic papers and books throughout his medical practice.

He has written many academic articles in the field of plastic surgery and firmly believes in continuing education and attends numerous professional meetings and conferences yearly to remain in touch with the latest technological advances in the field of plastic surgery. His goal is to recognize the needs of each patient as an individual and provide to them the best care possible.
